Calcaneal Spur

These Spurs typically form due to repeated stress or pressure on the foot, resulting in the accumulation of calcium on the heel bone.
Ayurveda attributes calcaneal spurs to an imbalance in the vata and kapha doshas. Factors like poor digestion, improper foot wear , excessive walking , and obesity are believed to exacerbate these doshas , culminating in the formation of spurs

Symptoms

  • Persistent heel pain.
  • Inflammation at the bottom of the heel
  • Pain when walking or excercising with out supportive shoes
  • Feeling of a small , bony bump on the bottom or back of your heel
